For Christmas my husband secretly took pictures from my hard drive and then uploaded them to a site that will make photo books. He did all of the design work from picking what the colors were, the font, title, what pictures to include, etc. It was one of the sweetest gifts he's ever given me. The dedication brought tears to my eyes Christmas morning =)

WOW!!! You are loved and your hubby has got some time on his hands to spare. You are very fortunate :)

Thanks! The site if I am remembering correctly is blurb.com. The photobooks are more in depth than what you can do on snapfish and shutterfly. I'm sure it wasn't that difficult for him since he's a graphic designer and he did it on his train commute lol

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, well that explains it! I used to be a graphic designer and my hubby is a cop and let me tell you, he would never do this for me. No way. He did use markers and a blank journal book from Hallmark and made love and massage coupons book for me when we were dating (ahem, before kids). lol That is still quite possibly the coolest gift I could imagine from a husband. My hubby wants to shower me with expensive gadgets (that he can use too) when he wants to knock my socks off. Think I prefer the book <3

Blurb.com - it was really quite easy to put the book together. They have their own layout software you can use or templates for InDesign and such.
