Not a very cooperative subject...I tried this pose (like Sasha's yesterday) that same morning, again this morning, and multiple times tonight (along with various other pose ideas and shots). This was as good as it got and that was after a strong chin hold and a Mom voice of the command "stay!"
This one isn't a catch up pic, but an actual on schedule one taken in August.
One of my favorite little people <3
Trying to finish this monster of a project.....going to try and post from here on out and potentially more than one since I'm behind (again) about 60+ pics. Next project small goal indeed! What would it be if the returning pic was none other than my danes? Maltby wasn't cooperating this morning so here's Sasha....and yes it makes me sad to see the gray spectacles she's sporting these days /sigh.
I recently had the chance to enter some of my photos in a themed project for another blog. On a monthly basis they have a one word project that the current contributors share three photos with their take on the word. I've inquired a couple times in the past how I could be a part of the project but at the times that I asked they were not accepting new contributors. Last week however I got the chance to participate and a chance to be selected to be a guest contributor.....cross your fingers!
This months theme was orange to be interpreted any which way you see fit. I had a few ideas tumbling around in my noggin -leaves, pumpkins, oranges, and was originally going to use just one of those items in the set of three. Something along the lines of this:
What I went with ended up being something different since I couldn't decide which of those three items would be the best, so I took one out of each idea I felt turned out best and submitted them. Here's what I went with. Which do you like best?
My favorite and I recently spent the afternoon at the Morton Arboretum with two great friends. We started off walking the paths and looking at the Steel Roots exhibit by Steve Tobin. Once we got back to the main area we spotted several volunteers from the SOAR foundation. The owls were awesome and the staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions (yes, even David's). We finished off our day with several bottles of Wente Riesling....yum!
Just recently stumbled across this blog/store by following who knows what rabbit hole of links I clicked on to get there...but I love all of the creative ideas I've found there. Not to mention they have a store! Here's the link http://www.thesavvyphotographerblog.com/ Take a look they have some great stuff =)
